Ibiza

This is the hippy guide to the fabulous island of Ibiza.  There are no clubs listed in this post.  I have passed that phase of life as should you if you are over 30

The North side of the island is fantastic.  There are farm houses surrounded by fields of wildflowers and hidden little garden restaurants strung with lights in the trees.  It is truly magical.

Here are my favorite restaurant spots. Most of them involve the sunset

El Chiringuito  Cool, chic restaurant and beach club on the north sea.  Great for sunset.

Las Puertas del Cielo  Local awesome, chill restaurant amazing for Sunset with the best views from above, hence the name, “The doors of Heaven”

Can Bigotes  Super cool little seafood beach shack, can arrive by parking and walking down the hill, or if you really cool, you can arrive by boat.  Supposedly one of THE best seafood restaurants in Ibiza.  They only have two seatings 12:30 and 2:30 (or something like that) and YOU MUST CALL FOR RESERVATIONS OR THEY WILL NOT LET YOU EAT!!!! (wish someone told me this the first time I went)

Aiyanna Ibiza When you want a chic hotspot for amazing idealistically Ibiza.  This place is great.  How you picture Ibiza, chic, colorful, and beautiful people.  Also great food and excellent service.

Can Pujol Totally rustic but ON THE BEACH, kinda feels like Mexico, close to San Antonio (but away from the grossness of the town) with the sunset in right in front of you and phenomenal paella, best one I have ever had.

La Paloma Total hot spot, fan fav garden restaurant.  Great for lunch or dinner.  Def call for reservations.

MAGICAL SPOTS JUST FOR SUNSET

Overlooking the most special part of the island, the fantastic Es Vedra.

* Lylita’s Way tip*** There is a restaurant overlooking Es Vedra called Es Bolado, this is where I was planning to go to watch the sunset until I arrived to a quite boring stuffy restaurant.  What I did buy from them was a bottle of wine, and a cup of olives and bread and we walked to the right through the little patch of woods to a clearing where we made our own impromptu picnic and had the most phenomenal view of the sunset over Es Vedra.
